These are solid stools at a very good price. The assembly process was straight forward and not difficult. They are heavy duty and look good sitting at my basement work bench.

I needed a pair of stools for my workshop, and purchased these from Amazon since the price, with shipping, was the lowest. They go together fairly easily - if you have a 10mm wrench and a large flathead screwdriver on hand it will be a bit easier, as I found that the cheap combo screws (both Phillips and slotted in one) had a tendency to cam out when used with a Phillips screwdriver. It took me about 10 leisurely minutes to put one together.
One has a very loose head, so I may have to take it apart and give it a couple of good bashes with a hammer to tighten the rivet that holds the swivel together. The other was fine out of the box. The tops are very firm - I would have liked more padding, as they are less comfortable to me than a stool I purchased from Northern Tool years ago.
If you don't mind the seat, they are an excellent value for the money.
