Originally bought this chair to use at breakfast bar and in that use it excelled. well made and a good value for the price. On tile floors it skids a little so the feet need some felt or rubber pieces between legs and the floor. I also needed a chair in the bathroom so it changed its home and now lives in bathroom. the uses in the bathroom are endless? I wanted to return it to Home Decorators, but they always make it very, very difficult. After many, many email, with all different representatives, I finally got a refund and I threw the stool out. It is definitely NOT worth the trouble ordering anything from Home Decorators. This is not the 1st time I've had this problem with them. If you receive a damaged item, it becomes a nightmare. I will not order anything through them ever again!

I paid $42 and change (with free shipping), and it's well worth that price. The price seems to change daily on Amazon and lately has ranged between $70 and $98. I'd say that if it gets below $60 (with free shipping) and you have a use for it, go for it.
